Host My Home is a locally owned boutique property management company specialising in short-term holiday accommodation throughout Queenstown.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our guests and property owners while maintaining high standards across our growing portfolio of homes.
We’re looking for a Property Manager to join our team.
About the Role
The Ideal candidate would have previous experience in a property management role. They will be responsible for maintaining the presentation, functionality and overall standards of properties managed by Host My Home.
The Property Manager is the on-the-ground operator responsible for protecting quality across the portfolio, spotting and resolving issues early, and acting as the operational buffer between day-to-day problems and senior managers.
This is a hands-on, field-based role, with a strong focus on property inspections, preventative maintenance, issue resolution, guest readiness and supporting the day-to-day operational requirements of a busy short-term rental management business.
The Property Manager is expected to take ownership of problems, find practical solutions and ensure properties remain in excellent condition.
A key purpose of this position is to act as the first line of operational problem-solving, resolving routine issues independently and reducing unnecessary escalation to senior management.
About You
This role is all about ownership, communication and being proactive.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a confident and clear communicator
Can work autonomously and make sound decisions
Has the ability to lead, delegate and hold people accountable
Has excellent attention to detail
Is confident using technology and learning new systems
Holds a valid New Zealand driver's licence
Previous experience in property management, short-term accommodation, hospitality, operations or team leadership would be highly regarded.
