School Caretaker

• Part Time or Full-time, Permanent Support Staff Position

• Commencing as soon as possible

• 32 - 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

• Covered by the current School Caretakers, Cleaners and Canteen Staff Collective Agreement

Middleton Grange School is seeking a reliable, hardworking and proactive Caretaker to join our Maintenance Team.

The Maintenance Team contributes to the smooth running of the school by ensuring our grounds and facilities are safe, attractive, and well-maintained. The successful applicant will take pride in ensuring the school environment remains neat, tidy and welcoming for students, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include general property maintenance, identifying and reporting maintenance issues, and assisting with other property-related tasks as required.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Experience in gardening and general property maintenance

• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A commitment to maintaining a safe environment and following Health & Safety procedures
