Position: Assistant Director of Transportation
Location: Transportation/Ware County Schools
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of verified experience.
2. Required CDL License with the S & P endorsements to drive bus routes as needed.
3. Previous leadership experience in supervising all aspects of public education transportation services.
4. The ability to implement guidelines for relevant state code regulations for district wide student transportation compliance.
5. Proficient in assessing and resolving employees, students, and parents’ complaints.
6. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
7. Excellent oral and written communications and human relations skills.
8. Experience and training in public education safety standards.
9. Knowledge of public transportation policies and procedures to ensure district wide service objectives.
10.Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and cooperative attitude
11.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
Salary: Salary determined by qualifications and years of experience
