About the role: We are seeking 2 fabulous Caregivers to join our team at Whangarei Park Village on a part time basis. Our Care Home offers Rest home, hospital and dementia level care. Under the direction of our Registered Nurses, you will provide essential personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
Candidates must be available to work on both days of the weekend.
Role 1- 19 hours a week - shifts - Thursday -7am to 3pm, Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 9.30pm.
Role 2 - 24 hours a week - shifts -Tuesday - 3pm to 9pm, Wednesday - 3pm to 11pm Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 9pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with Nurses and Carestaff to make a difference in the lives of Residents
- Providing care that is specific for the Resident and is holistic in nature
- Ensuring safety and wellbeing of self, Residents and colleagues
About you
Attitude is key here. We are looking for experienced Caregivers who love their job as a vocation and who are flexible in terms of availability. You will be part of a growing organisation, which strives daily to deliver the best care available to our residents.
- Previous experience in aged care and a desire to learn and develop your skill set
