Greymouth & West Coast Region | Road Ranger Experience Essential

APS is looking for reliable, experienced Class 4 Drivers to join our client in Greymouth and across the wider West Coast region.

This role involves operating Class 4 trucks, transporting live loads to a variety of construction and customer sites. We're looking for confident drivers who understand the challenges of transporting live loads, can operate Road Ranger gearboxes, and take pride in getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operating Class 4 trucks

• Delivering product to construction and customer sites

• Confidently operating vehicles fitted with Road Ranger gearboxes

• Manoeuvring heavy vehicles safely on construction sites and in challenging conditions

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining equipment

• Following all transport, site safety and company procedures

• Assisting with general duties as required

What we're looking for

• Full, current NZ Class 4 driver's licence

• Proven Road Ranger experience (essential)

• Previous experience transporting live loads, ideally ready-mix concrete, would be a strong advantage

• Confidence operating heavy vehicles on construction sites and rural roads

• A strong understanding of road safety and health and safety requirements

• Reliability, punctuality and a solid work ethic

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude

• Physical fitness and willingness to get hands-on when required
