About the role
We're looking for an experienced Civil Foreman to lead crews on our sites across Auckland. You'll run the job day to day, from setting out and formwork through to the concrete pour. You'll keep the team safe, productive and building to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Running sites and leading a crew day to day
- Setting up and building formwork for slabs, foundations, walls and structures
- Planning, placing and finishing concrete
- Building retaining walls (timber pole, palisade, concrete and block)
- Reading plans and working with engineers, surveyors and clients
- Operating machinery and towing gear between sites
- Running health and safety on site: toolbox talks, task analyses and site inductions
- Keeping daily site records and reporting progress to management
About you
- Proven experience as a civil foreman or senior leading hand
- Strong skills in formwork, concrete work and retaining walls
- Class 1 and Class 2 driver's licence
- W, T and R endorsements (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers)
- Can read and work from engineering drawings
- A strong safety focus and the ability to lead and motivate a crew
- Reliable, well organised and happy to take ownership of the job
- NZ citizen or resident, or a valid NZ work visa
- Site Safe passport (or willing to get one)
