QUANTITY SURVEYOR in residential property development and construction.
Are you an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 10+ years experience in New Zealand and want to take a step forward in your career?
My client is a dynamic, property development company specializing in multi-unit residential developments across Auckland. These include infill townhomes of all specifications and price points including up to $2m and $3m each in city fringe suburbs.
Reporting to the Head Project Manager and the company founders you will quickly take ownership of all Quantity Surveying tasks for the pricing and delivery of terrace home and townhouse projects for the company.
You will have suitable Auckland based experience in estimating project costs as well as tendering & negotiating, claims & variation management with subcontractors. Primarily the QS will be working on vertical construction.
This role is ideal for a proactive person with a passion for getting the numbers right, and having subcontractors deliver good design, maintaining quality construction within a budget.
You must have:
Qualification in Quantity Surveying
3 years plus experience in New Zealand as a QS of terrace homes and/or townhouses from pricing to procurement to construction completion.
Main contractor (or Developer who self builds directly with subcontractors) QS based experience.
A proactive aptitude and a pleasant easy going attitude.
Have NZ citizenship or permanent residency with no VISA restrictions.
