About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Site Manager / Foreperson to lead and manage a variety of construction projects. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in commercial construction, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring quality and efficiency
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
Maintain a safe and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations
Problem-solve and make quick, effective decisions on-site
Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and the team
What We’re Looking For
Trade-qualified carpenter with commercial construction experience
10+ years in commercial construction, with proven leadership experience
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Commitment to Health & Safety and Quality
Ability to give and take direction effectively within a team environment
Willingness to help train apprentices and support their development
Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
Full NZ driver’s license
Permanent work rights in New Zealand
