The Kitchen
Mr Murdoch’s is a casual rooftop hangout on Fort Street in the heart of Auckland. Formerly Fort Street Union, we’ve had a makeover like no other. Our kitchen is all about hand-stretched pizza and pub food done properly: think truffle pancetta and wagyu meatball pizzas, chicken parmas, proper wings and big sharing boards, plus bottomless pizza Saturdays. Cold beer, good prices and good nights.

Our Story
Cook Brothers Hospitality Group started in 2004 and runs venues across Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin, including Michelin Guide-listed Bessie. Food is our biggest focus, and we’re investing in it across the group.

Applications close 30 October 2026.
