Milton Medical Centre is seeking a motivated and patient-centred Registered/Enrolled Nurse to join our collaborative primary care team in Milton, Otago.
This part-time position offers clinical variety, opportunities for ongoing professional development, and the ability to make a genuine difference within our local community.
You will work within a well-supported, multidisciplinary team alongside an experienced GP, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacist and Registered Nurses. Our integrated Access & Choice team — including a Health Improvement Practitioner and Health Coach — further strengthens our commitment to holistic patient care. The clinical team is supported by a Business Manager and an experienced reception and administration team, ensuring a well-organised and professionally run environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care. You will bring:
A current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and indemnity cover
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
A strong commitment to equity in healthcare
Motivation to develop your skills and practice
Understanding of cultural safety, cultural competence, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
A supportive, patient-first approach to care
Preferred skills (not essential):
Experience in primary health care
Knowledge of primary care clinical programmes
Triage skills
Vaccinator and/or smear taker certification
Current ACLS certification
Familiarity with Medtech Evolution
