Auckland | Hybrid working | Sales and Partnerships | Reports to the Head of Sales

GetHomeSafe is a fast-growing New Zealand safety technology company helping organisations protect lone, remote, travelling and at-risk workers.

We are looking for an Auckland-based senior Partnerships Manager to grow our partner channel across New Zealand, Australia and international markets, turning strong relationships into sustainable revenue.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an important growth channel, work with leading organisations and shape how GetHomeSafe works with referrers, resellers and technology partners. You will also enjoy the benefits of flexible hybrid working and our nine-day fortnight.

About the role

You will sit within the Sales and Partnerships team and report to the Head of Sales.

You will manage and grow relationships with existing partners, identify new partnership opportunities and turn partner activity into measurable pipeline and revenue across New Zealand, Australia and selected international markets.

This is a senior commercially focused role—not simply relationship management. You will also own and close qualified partner-referred opportunities, leading discovery, demonstrations, proposals and commercial discussions through to agreement.

Direct Sales and Partnerships operate as one revenue team at GetHomeSafe. You will work closely with the wider sales team to identify the best route for each opportunity, share market knowledge and achieve our collective revenue goals.

This is an Auckland-based role with hybrid working. Travel will be required domestically and internationally (Australia) several times per year. You will have a desk alongside the Sales team in our Wynyard Quarter coworking space, providing a collaborative base while retaining flexibility in how and where you work.

What you will do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of referrer, reseller, technology and strategic partner relationships across New Zealand, Australia and international markets.

  • Identify, recruit and activate new partners.

  • Develop practical partner plans with clear opportunities, actions and measures of success.

  • Generate qualified partner-sourced pipeline and help close partner-referred deals.

  • Deliver customer discovery sessions, demonstrations, proposals and commercial negotiations.

  • Maintain accurate partner and opportunity information in HubSpot.

  • Manage lead registration, attribution and opportunity ownership.

  • Develop joint account plans and sales activity with partners.

  • Help successful referrers develop into reseller relationships where there is a strong commercial case.

  • Work with Product to communicate partner feedback, coordinate technical issues and support new partner integrations.

  • Work with Marketing to develop joint campaigns, events, content and partner communications.

  • Work with Customer Success on partner onboarding, enablement, training and service quality.

  • Help develop appropriate training and certification for revenue partners, particularly resellers.

  • Monitor partner performance, commercial risks and the overall health of the channel.

What success looks like

  • Existing partners are engaged and generating qualified opportunities.

  • New partners are identified, activated and producing results.

  • Partner-referred opportunities are professionally managed and converted into revenue.

  • GetHomeSafe’s partner reach grows across New Zealand, Australia and selected international markets.

  • Partners understand how to position, sell and support GetHomeSafe.

  • Partner feedback and technical requirements are coordinated effectively across GetHomeSafe.

  • Joint sales and marketing activity generates measurable pipeline.

  • Direct Sales and Partnerships work together as one coordinated team.

  • GetHomeSafe builds a strong and diverse partner portfolio without becoming overly dependent on any single relationship.

What you will bring

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in partnerships, channel sales, business development or B2B technology sales.

  • A track record of building valuable commercial relationships.

  • Experience managing and closing opportunities through the full sales process.

  • Confidence running discovery, presentations, demonstrations and commercial negotiations.

  • The ability to turn relationships and ideas into practical actions, pipeline and revenue.

  • Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.

  • Sound commercial judgement and the ability to balance partner needs with GetHomeSafe’s wider priorities.

  • Strong organisation, follow-through and attention to detail.

  • Experience using a CRM; HubSpot experience would be an advantage.

Experience working with partners across Australia or other international markets would be advantageous.

Experience in safety, health and safety, SaaS, workforce technology, telecommunications or telematics would be valuable but is not essential.

Why join GetHomeSafe?

  • Join a fast-growing New Zealand technology company with a meaningful purpose.

  • Take ownership of a strategically important growth channel.

  • Build partnerships across New Zealand, Australia and international markets.

  • Play a direct role in winning new customers and revenue.

  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and the wider GetHomeSafe team.

  • Work flexibly while having a desk alongside the Sales team in a Wynyard Quarter coworking space.

  • Help build partnerships that improve worker safety in New Zealand and around the world.

  • Benefit from our nine-day fortnight—an additional day away from work every two weeks.
