About the role

You will be responsible for building and preparing formwork, assisting with concrete pours, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while following health and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Build and fabricate plywood formwork to specification

• Read and work from shop drawings accurately

• Ensure all measurements, angles, and finishes meet quality standards

• Prepare and clean casting decks and formwork

• Install and secure formwork using screws, bolts, or magnetic clamps

• Apply sealants, form release, and retarders where required

• Assist with reinforcing steel placement and cast-in items

• Support concrete pours, vibrating, screeding, and finishing

• Oversee stripping, cleaning, and storage of formwork after pours

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

About you

• Experience in precast concrete, formwork carpentry, construction, or concrete work preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work

• Reliable, motivated, and a team player

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
