Procurement & Account Coordinator – Christchurch
Love getting the detail right, building great supplier relationships and keeping clients looked after? This is a key role at the heart of our business.
About us
Business IT is a Christchurch-based managed IT and cyber security provider, supporting small and medium-sized businesses across New Zealand and Australia since 2003. We are SMB1001 Gold certified and a Microsoft Solutions Partner, and we are building a new sales and procurement team to support our next stage of growth.
About the role
Every device, licence and renewal we supply passes through you. You will run procurement from quote to order, delivery and invoice, keep client licensing and renewals on track, and be the day-to-day commercial contact for many of our clients. You will work closely with our sales, service and engineering teams.
You will:
Purchase hardware, software and licensing from approved distributors at the best price and margin
Prepare accurate quotes for hardware, licensing and solutions
Track orders through to delivery and coordinate with the service team for installs
Manage Microsoft 365 licence changes and annual renewals
Own client renewals – domains, certificates, subscriptions and support contracts – so nothing lapses
Keep each client's asset register and hardware lifecycle plan current, and raise replacements early
Invoice sales orders promptly and accurately
About you

Experience ordering through IT distributors and managing pricing and margin
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing
Meticulous with detail and highly organised
Confident, friendly communicator with clients and suppliers
Full NZ driver's licence and the right to work in New Zealand
Experience with an MSP PSA or quoting platform is a bonus, not a must.
