Anchor Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Clerk to support our manufacturing operations in La Vergne, Tennessee. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring materials are available when needed to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming materials and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or overages.
- Enter inventory transactions into the ERP/MRP system.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist with physical inventories and annual inventory audits.
- Verify material movements between departments and storage locations.
- Generate inventory reports and maintain documentation.
- Follow all company safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately handle data entry and inventory transactions.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
