Reed Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing business in St Helens in their search for a Management Accountant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful SME where you will work closely with senior management and play a key role in providing accurate financial information to support business decisions. The role would suit an AAT qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) accountant who enjoys working within a collaborative, office-based environment and is looking for a varied position with genuine long-term prospects.

£40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports to support business planning.
Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Review financial performance and provide commercial insight to management.
Work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders on financial and business-related matters.

Requirements

AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and reporting.
Commercially minded with the ability to communicate effectively across the business.
Comfortable working within an office-based environment and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
