About the role

You'll start by working alongside our experienced team on the factory floor, learning a variety of hands-on skills and gaining an understanding of our machinery, products and production processes. For the right person, this role is just the beginning. Our goal is to train and develop you so that, as your skills and confidence grow, you can progress into a Machine Setter position and take on greater responsibility within the business.

Key responsibilities

• Work on the factory floor alongside experienced team members

• Learn hands-on skills in textile manufacturing

• Gain understanding of machinery, products and production processes

• Learn warping/weaving skills

• Develop skills and confidence to progress into a Machine Setter position

• Take on greater responsibility as you develop

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in turning up and doing a great job

• Enjoys practical, hands-on work

• Keen to learn new skills

• Works well as part of a team

• Can keep up in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Wants to take on more responsibility as they develop

Having warping/weaving skill an advantage but not essential.
