ilabb isn't just a store. Our new home at 41 Shotover Street is our Global HQ: built on nature, movement and the truth that comes from lived experience. It's where the gear gets made real, where stories get told, and where the café becomes the best meeting place in town.

We're looking for a Flagship Operations Lead to run the show. Not manage it into submission. Lead it. Someone who leans forward, can't sit still, and knows a great brand experience only works with a meticulously run business underneath. At ilabb, it's always both.

You'll work alongside our General Manager to coach the team, connect ilabb to the Queenstown community, and grow the store as we take the brand global.

What you'll own

•      The ride on the floor. Coach a team of ambassadors, not salespeople. No scripts, no pressure. Just real conversations, gear in hands, and customers who leave wanting more.

•      Your crew. Find, coach and grow people who live the ilabb story. Hand them real ownership and build the leaders who'll open our next doors.

•      The community. Work with Community Marketing on a quarterly local plan: events, ride sessions, VIP nights and partnerships with the riders and locals who make this town.

•      The engine room. Stock accuracy, rosters, wage targets, VM standards and H&S. The unglamorous stuff that makes the magic possible.

•      The numbers. Know your P&L, read the trends and tell it straight, especially when the numbers aren't pretty.

Who you are

•      3 to 5 years leading teams in retail and/or hospitality. You've run a floor, a roster and a P&L.

•      Relentlessly real. No fake, no put-on, no overselling.

•      You'd rather go off trail and figure it out than follow someone else's map.

•      You coach from the front, hold a high bar and trust your people to run with it.

•      Nature and movement are how you live, not a costume. Ride, hike, ski, run, climb. You know gear because you've given it a hard time.
