We are seeking a motivated and reliable Production Operator to join our Graveyard Shift 6pm - 3am team. Working in a fast-paced, highly automated production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
About the Role
As a Production Operator on our Graveyard Shift team, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading cages and completing inwards goods responsibilities.
- Ensuring departmental TPMs (Total Productive Maintenance) are completed.
- Programming, setting up, and operating automated machinery.
- Operating a forklift to complete bin dumping and other production tasks.
- Conducting regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Assisting with the dispatch of finished products when required.
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting faults promptly.
- Working alongside maintenance teams and engineers to minimise downtime.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Hold a current forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
- Have previous manufacturing or machine operation experience (preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate).
