We are seeking a passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. The successful candidate will support our housekeeping team, assisting our Housekeeping Manager with daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day supervision of the housekeeping team
Drive the productivity, motivation, and development of all Housekeeping Team Members
Supervising a team of dedicated housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Ensure high cleanliness and productivity standards are met and kept in accordance with company guidelines.
Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness, adherence to standards, and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
Assist with managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining par levels to support smooth operations.
Organise and allocate rooms for the rostered team members on shift
Ensure appropriate chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards and practices are maintained
Maintaining effective communication with the Housekeeping Manager, providing updates on departmental activities, and addressing any challenges or opportunities.
Experience:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
Previous experience in a similar role.
You must hold working rights in New Zealand or have a valid working visa for this role.
