Due to an internal promotion, we’re on the lookout for a Tyre Technician to join the team here at TyreLand Invercargill. If you’ve got previous experience in the auto trade or a related industry and are looking for a hands-on role with steady work, ongoing training and room to grow in the wider GWD Motor Group, this role could be for you!

In this role you will be:

• Fitting and balancing tyres on a wide range of cars, 4WDs and light commercial vehicles.

• Carrying out wheel alignments and puncture repairs.

• Serving customers and helping them pick the right tyres for their vehicle and budget.

• Inspecting tyres to assess and make recommendations to customers and the wider workshop team

Skills Required

• Previous workshop or tyre shop experience. Wheel alignment experience would be an advantage but not a necessity.

• Able to work well in a team as well as on your own.

• Happy Dealing with customers, not just working on cars.

• Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet throughout the day.

• Current full NZ Driver’s Licence.
