HamiltonJet is a highly respected international company and market leader in marine propulsion systems, serving high-profile clients globally. With a strong reputation for excellence, our products and services are trusted by boat builders, naval architects, and a wide variety of end-users in over 120 countries.

We are currently seeking an Aftersales Supply Chain Manager to join our Global Aftersales team in Christchurch on a permanent basis. This is a role that brings together demand and inventory planning, M3 ERP functional design, Snowflake-based data and analytics, warehouse leadership and delivery performance, so that Aftersales has a single accountable owner for our global supply chain and the technology underpinning it.

What you'll do:

  • Own demand planning for the aftersales supply chain end to end, translating regional and distributor demand signals into supply and inventory plans and configuring supply chain settings in M3.

  • Own and maintain our inventory management policy, regional safety stock settings, the safety stock review tool, obsolete parts management, and order types.

  • Support and improve the operational performance of our regional office warehouses, covering stock accuracy, warehouse flow and bin management, M3 integration, scalability, and the introduction of cross-docking.

  • Own the Single Large Order (SLO) process, the five-stage order prioritisation process and lead time taxonomy, working to a DIFOT target of 90%.

  • Own the systems, data flows and process design underpinning regional logistics, export documentation and shipment tracking.

  • Act as data champion for source-level DIFOT/DOT validation, own root-cause resolution for delivery failures, chair cross-functional improvement forums across Warehouse, Logistics and Planning, and maintain the supply chain reporting suite for Aftersales and SMT stakeholders.

  • Own onboarding and ongoing training for our spares and aftersales teams, regionally and locally, covering customer order entry and warehouse operations.

  • Drive strategic growth planning and emerging technology in this space, including AI-enabled forecasting and the migration of our Distributor Portal to Snowflake.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in an ERP-enabled supply chain, logistics, or aftersales environment; Infor M3 experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data platform, including data model development, data warehousing, and data validation.

  • Experience in demand planning or S&OP-type processes, including translating demand signals into inventory and supply decisions.

  • Experience working with or overseeing regional or distributed warehouse and logistics operations, ideally across multiple sites or countries.

  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional improvement or delivery programmes, including where you have had no formal line authority over contributing teams.

  • Experience managing implementation and consulting vendor relationships.

Advantageous:

  • Exposure to AI-enabled or machine-learning-assisted forecasting tools.

  • Experience migrating or building customer-facing platforms, such as distributor portals, onto a cloud data platform.

  • Prior ERP implementation or upgrade experience.

Why HamiltonJet?

  • The opportunity to work for a global industry leader in marine propulsion.

  • A broad, high-impact role with genuine end-to-end ownership of our global aftersales supply chain.

  • The chance to shape how we use data and emerging technology, including AI-enabled forecasting.

  • A supportive, team-oriented environment.

If you are looking for a new opportunity to start the New Year 2027 and are a supply chain leader who is as comfortable in data and ERP as you are in the warehouse, who enjoys joining the dots across teams and countries, and who is curious, tenacious and solution-focused, we would love to hear from you.
