Our client is a long-established UK business with a strong reputation built over decades. With continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their finance function with the appointment of a Management Accountant.

The Role

As Management Accountant, you will

Play a key part in the management accounts process, including budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting.
Assist with projects covering costings, overheads, profitability analysis and system improvements.
Liaise with the wider business, identifying trends, providing analysis and supporting efficiency improvements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Monitor group bank balances and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
Carry out variance analysis between budget and actual performance, providing meaningful insight to management.
Support month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations.

About You

You will ideally have

Completed OR completing level 4 AAT OR studying your ACCA qualification.
At least 2 years' experience in month end accounting
Strong systems and Excel skills.
The ability to analyse financial information and communicate findings effectively.
Appetite to further develop, learn and study
