SSI is looking for commissioning specialists to support start-up and ramp-up on mineral processing plants, including gold, nickel, copper and iron ore.

The work

• Support plant commissioning, de-bottlenecking and troubleshooting

• Work alongside and mentor new operators

• Help build safe, reliable operating practices

What you'll need

• Processing plant operating experience (gold, nickel, copper or iron ore highly desirable)

• Proven commissioning and plant ramp-up experience

• Willingness to share knowledge and mentor others

• NZ Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4) highly regarded

• A valid passport (for international work)

Rosters

Rosters vary by project and client, and may include: 

• International FIFO swings (e.g. 21/14, 14/14) 

• Domestic FIFO swings (e.g. 14/14, 8/6) 

• Shorter domestic rosters (e.g. 5/2, 4/3) 

• Work from home with flexible hours
