About the role
We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Class 4 Driver to join our Cromwell team.
This is a varied role where you’ll operate a range of vehicles and equipment while delivering waste collection and servicing activities safely, efficiently and with a high standard of customer service.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Operating front-load bin trucks
- Operating gantry trucks
- Operating septic tank trucks and completing septic waste collection and disposal
- Emptying and cleaning grease traps
- Delivering, cleaning and servicing portaloos at customer sites
- Completing scheduled collections and customer service requests
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment pre-start checks
- Completing logbooks and required operational paperwork
- Following planned routes and schedules
- Reporting maintenance requirements, incidents, hazards and near misses
- Building positive relationships with customers and providing great service.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is practical, dependable and comfortable working across a variety of driving and servicing tasks.
Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum Class 2 licence, Class 4 licence preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but is not essential
- Basic computer skills
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
