About the role
Protect Financial Services is looking for an experienced Insurance Adviser to join our supportive and growing team.
You'll work alongside experienced insurance advisers, providing personalised risk advice to clients. You'll have access to an established support network, flexible working options and the guidance needed to build a successful long-term career with us.
This opportunity would suit an experienced insurance adviser who is confident working with clients, understands the New Zealand insurance market and is motivated by an uncapped commission structure.
Key responsibilities
Meeting with clients to understand their circumstances, goals and insurance needs
Researching and recommending suitable insurance solutions
Clearly explaining policy options and recommendations to clients
Preparing and collecting the documentation required for applications
Managing applications throughout the advice and underwriting process
Liaising with insurers, underwriters and internal support staff
Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
Maintaining accurate and compliant client records
About you
A New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), with the relevant insurance strand
A good understanding of life, health, trauma and disability insurance
Strong sales, communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach
High professional and ethical standards
