About the Role:

As a Wine Tanker and Metro Class 5 Driver, you’ll play an important role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently. This role will include wine tanker operations as well as metro Class 5 driving duties, supporting local freight movements and customer deliveries as required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Completing wine tanker work, including delivering semi tankers to customers, uplifting once full, and delivering to the final destination

  • Completing metro Class 5 driving duties, including local pickups, deliveries, and general freight movements

  • Performing routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance

  • Keeping accurate delivery and route records

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and representing MOVe Freight with professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ability to complete solo run (assisted in busy periods)

  • Ability to follow instruction from Dispatch team

  • Willingness to support local freight operations during quieter periods of wine tanker activity

  • Valid Class 5 licence, with a clean driving record

  • DG license, F & OSH forklift endorsement (advantageous, but training provided for the right person)

  • Road ranger gearbox experience

  • Strong knowledge of the New Zealand transport industry

  • Flexibility to meet operational demands
