Ravenswood Lifestyle Village is a well-established and flourishing community, home to residents who value connection, independence, security and a high-quality living environment. We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Village Manager to lead the ongoing success of the village and ensure an exceptional resident experience.
Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of the village. This is a highly visible leadership role where resident relationships, community engagement, team leadership and operational excellence are at the heart of what you do.
As the face of the village, you will build trusted relationships with residents, their families, contractors and key stakeholders. You will create an environment where people feel heard, valued and proud to call Ravenswood home.
What you'll be responsible for
Leading the day-to-day operations of the village.
Building strong, positive relationships with residents and their families.
Supporting and facilitating resident activities, events and community programmes.
Managing village facilities, maintenance programmes and contractor performance.
Ensuring Health and Safety systems and practices are implemented and maintained.
Overseeing village budgets, expenditure and reporting requirements.
Providing clear and effective communication to residents and stakeholders.
Leading and supporting onsite team members to deliver outstanding service.
Identifying opportunities to continuously improve village operations and resident satisfaction.
Working closely with internal teams to support occupancy, resident transitions and village initiatives.
What we're looking for
You will be a natural relationship builder who enjoys working with people and creating positive outcomes. You'll be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Leadership experience within retirement living, property management, hospitality, aged care, accommodation, or a similar customer-focused environment.
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support teams.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
Experience managing operational budgets and preparing management reports.
Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving capability.
Confidence managing contractors, facilities and service delivery.
Sound administration and technology skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
A calm, practical and resilient approach with the ability to balance competing priorities.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer and resident experiences.
