Taitoko Health in Levin is looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our wonderful team!
We're a busy, community-focused medical practice where no two days are quite the same. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can keep a smile on their face when things get busy, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help their teammates.
If you're someone who enjoys a good laugh, works well under pressure and genuinely cares about people, you could be just who we're looking for!
About the Role
As one of the first people our patients meet when they visit or call the practice, you'll play an important part in making sure everyone feels welcomed, supported and cared for.
You'll work alongside our Practice Manager, GPs, Nurse Practitioners, nurses and administration team to keep the practice running smoothly.
Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8.00am–5.00pm, with some evening and weekend work required (on a rotation basis)
What You'll Be Doing
Welcoming patients and visitors with a friendly smile
Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
Helping patients with enquiries, payments and invoicing
Keeping patient information and records accurate and up to date
Supporting the clinical and administration teams with day-to-day tasks
Helping create a positive and welcoming experience for everyone who visits our practice
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who:
Has a friendly, approachable personality and genuinely enjoys helping people
Is organised, reliable and able to juggle a few things at once
Can stay calm and positive when things get busy
Has great communication and customer service skills
Is confident using computers and learning new systems
Enjoys being part of a team and is always willing to lend a hand
Treats everyone with kindness, respect and understanding
Previous medical reception experience would be great, and knowledge of Indici would be a bonus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important to us!
