We are Guthrie Bowron Nelson - Your Trusted Decorating Specialists selling Paint, Sundries, Wallpaper, Curtains and Blinds. Previous experience in the drapery, design, or wallpaper industry is preferable, but not essential as our first focus is for motivated team players who can provide exceptional honest service and drive sales.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail. Who loves building a rapport with customers and helping them find the perfect window furnishings for their home.

The role will require you to visit peoples homes to measure and quote window furnishings so a full New Zealand drivers license is a must.

Customer Service is the name of the game and a genuine love for people and the latest trends is necessary.

We are new owners of Guthrie Bowron Nelson and have lots of fresh ideas we would like to implement over time. Come and grow with us and reap the rewards. Hours to be discussed, but some flexibility is available. Excellent pay for the right candidate.

Have technical aptitude as you will be quantifying drapery orders

Are detailed and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Are well-organised and can work efficiently and calmly under pressure.

Are familiar with computers and enjoy using systems, as some administrative work will apply.

Have a valid full driver’s license.

Experience in social media is advantageous but not necessary.
