Some businesses provide a service - others provide a service that really matters and that’s what Tait Vital does! For over 30 years, Tait Vital has been helping keep New Zealand connected through innovative technology, resilient networks and a team of people who genuinely care about the work they do. From fibre networks connecting businesses in our cities to radio communications supporting frontline workers in some of the country's most remote locations, Tait Vital delivers the connectivity that organisations rely on every single day. And when things don't go to plan - those connections become even more important.

Tait Vital combines the personality, agility and close-knit culture of a proudly New Zealand business with the strength and opportunities of a global organisation. But what really makes them special is their people.

They're knowledgeable, passionate, collaborative and genuinely proud of what they do. Their values say a lot about who they are: Vitality, Insight, Togetherness, Ambition and Love. Yes, love! Because they believe enjoying your work, caring about your colleagues and taking pride in what you deliver makes for a pretty wonderful place to be. And that's exactly the sort of team you'll be joining.

About the Opportunity:

We're looking for a capable and engaging Customer Delivery Advisor who loves making things happen, keeping people connected and turning complicated processes into great outcomes to join their Wellington team for a seven to eight-month fixed-term opportunity.

This is a hands-on coordination and service delivery role where your organisational skills, ability to bring people together and technical understanding will make all the difference. You'll be the connection between customers, sales, field technicians and network operations, ensuring fibre service requests move smoothly from the initial order through to implementation, activation and billing.

There are plenty of moving parts, and that's where you come in!

You'll enjoy:

  • Coordinating fibre service orders, new connections and service changes from start to finish

  • Working closely with technical teams, field engineers and customers to keep delivery on track

  • Managing scheduling, service requests and the inevitable challenges that pop up along the way

  • Keeping customers proactively informed, engaged and confident throughout the delivery process

  • Maintaining accurate records, reporting and service information across internal systems

This is a truly varied role, where you'll get to combine your passion for people, problem-solving and getting things done.

About You:

You're organised, naturally curious and enjoy being the person who brings all the pieces together. You've probably spent the last few years working in technical support, telecommunications, IT service coordination/delivery or a similar environment, and you're ready to bring that experience into a role where you can take genuine ownership of outcomes.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Around three years' experience in technical support, service delivery or technical coordination

  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills

  • The ability to juggle priorities, troubleshoot issues and keep your cool when things get busy

  • Confidence working with a CRM, ticketing and service management systems

  • Excellent attention to detail and an appreciation for getting the administration right

  • A positive, proactive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working with others both internally and externally

  • A curious nature that is not afraid to ask people when you’re unsure to keep things moving

  • An understanding of telecommunications, fibre networks or technical service environments (would be advantageous)

We’re interested in hearing from people with transferable delivery experience and the curiosity to learn. But what matters most here, is that you care about doing things properly. You follow through, communicate well, take responsibility and understand that behind every technical service is a customer relying on you to get it right. As important, you enjoy being part of a team where people genuinely have each other's backs.

Why Vital:

Because it's nice to work somewhere that actually means something. You'll be joining people who are passionate about technology and their team environment, proud of the services they provide and genuinely invested in delivering great outcomes for their customers.

It's an opportunity to learn from experienced specialists, contribute your ideas and be part of a business where collaboration, curiosity and having a laugh along the way are all encouraged. And while this is a fixed term opportunity, the experience, relationships and exposure you'll gain working within New Zealand's critical communications infrastructure could be pretty valuable for whatever comes next.

How to Apply:

Vital has partnered with Cre8 Collective to find that wonderful human who brings the right mix of great communication skills, attention to detail, a genuine passion for proactively making things happen and enthusiasm for learning in a technical environment. If you have previous experience in delivery coordination, love connecting people, enjoy solving problems and want to be part of a team doing work that really matters, we'd love to hear from you!
