Looking for your next opportunity as a Cable Jointer?
We’re looking for an experienced Cable Jointer to join our Feilding team. You’ll get a good mix of HV and LV work across the lower North Island, including cable jointing, fault finding, testing and commissioning, along with installing and connecting network equipment.
You’ll be joining an experienced crew who take safety and quality seriously, but don’t take themselves too seriously. If you enjoy getting stuck in, doing a good job and having a laugh along the way, you’ll fit in well here.
What we're looking for
You’ll need:
New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply Cable Jointer – High Voltage Level 4 (or equivalent).
New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply Cable Jointer – Low Voltage Level 3 (or equivalent).
NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB) in Electrical Supply, or equivalent.
Ideally, a minimum of two years' experience undertaking HV and/or LV cable jointing work.
Strong technical knowledge of cable jointing, cable installation, testing and fault finding.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A current Class 1 New Zealand Driver Licence.

Scanpower Contracting provides electrical infrastructure services across the North Island. We specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of overhead and underground networks for utilities, developers and commercial customers.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Feilding, working 40 hours per week.
