Make a difference through financial coaching
Help clients take control of their financial future while building rewarding, long-term relationships. Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Wealth Manager / Financial Coach who combines strong coaching skills with a commercial mindset.
You’ll coach approximately 80–100 client couples, helping them stay accountable to debt reduction strategies, wealth creation goals and long-term financial plans. Through regular Zoom meetings and established systems and processes, you’ll support their progress while managing and growing your client relationships.
Work from home | Independent contractor | $80,000 base remuneration + uncapped commission
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and coach a portfolio of 80-100 client couples.
- Conduct regular client meetings via Zoom.
- Guide clients through debt reduction and wealth-building strategies.
- Monitor client progress and maintain accountability towards agreed goals.
- Build strong client relationships to maximise engagement and retention.
- Identify and develop opportunities to grow client relationships and services.
- Maintain accurate records within the company's client management software.
- Work closely with support staff and leadership to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
- Meet portfolio retention and performance KPIs.
- Manage a busy workload while providing exceptional client service.

- Strong relationship management and coaching abilities.

- Ability to work independently from a home office.
- Strong computer literacy and comfort with learning new systems.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
Your background

A Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services would be highly advantageous.

The contractor arrangement
This is an independent contractor position.
- Tax and GST are collected and managed on your behalf.
- Contractors are responsible for their own KiwiSaver arrangements.
- Candidates will initially provide their own laptop.
- Additional equipment and support, such as dual-screen setups, may be provided.
- Client satisfaction and engagement.
- Portfolio retention targets.
- Achievement of revenue and commission goals.
- Consistent client progress toward financial outcomes.
- Effective management of a portfolio of 80-100 clients.
