We’re a proud FMCG manufacturer and distributor of market‑leading, high‑quality, sustainably made toilet and tissue paper products throughout New Zealand for over 30 years. Our well‑loved portfolio includes Paseo, CottonSofts, KiwiSoft, Tuffy, CUTE & CO., EarthSmart and Livi, with products ranging from toilet roll and facial tissue through to paper towel, nappies, and wipes.

The Opportunity

We have recently opened a brand-new manufacturing site in Christchurch (Hornby South) and are recruiting Machine Operators to join our Converting Team.

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be hands-on in the production area, supporting the safe and efficient conversion of raw materials into quality finished goods. You will:

·         Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site standards

·         Operate manufacturing equipment

·         Assist with machine set-up and changeovers

·         Complete quality checks to ensure product standards are met

·         Support cleaning, housekeeping, and general production activities

About You

We’re looking for people who enjoy a hands-on environment and are excited by the opportunity to be part of a new site from the ground up. You will bring:

·         A strong focus on workplace health and safety

·         Experience in manufacturing or production (preferred but not essential) or an engineering background

·         Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues

·         Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern (days and nights)

·         Good literacy and numeracy skills

·         A positive attitude and willingness to learn

·         Reliability and a strong work ethic

·         The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·         Experience in FMCG or fast-paced production environments will be highly regarded

Roster Structure

You will work a four-on, four-off rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts:

4 x day shifts: 6:45am – 7:00pm

4 x rostered days off

4 x night shifts: 6:45pm – 7:00am

4 x rostered days off
