Are you passionate about bikes, love working with people and have a natural drive to sell? We're looking for an enthusiastic, sales-focused Bike Sales Assistant who knows how to turn a great customer experience into a great sale.
As a key part of our retail team, you'll be more than just a friendly face behind the counter. You'll actively engage with customers, understand their needs and confidently recommend the right bikes, riding gear, clothing and accessories to get them ready for their next adventure.
We're looking for someone who is motivated to achieve sales, enjoys connecting with customers and isn't afraid to go the extra mile to close a sale. Whether it's helping someone choose their first bike, recommending the perfect riding kit or suggesting those extra accessories they didn't know they needed, you'll play an important role in driving retail sales while making sure every customer leaves happy.
Your role will involve:
Proactively approaching and engaging with customers to identify their needs and create sales opportunities.
Driving sales across bikes, clothing, accessories and riding gear.
Using product knowledge to confidently recommend products, upsell and cross-sell.
Turning customer enquiries into sales through great communication and product recommendations.
Building rapport with customers and delivering an outstanding retail experience.
Assisting with price enquiries, quotes, purchases and special orders.
Maintaining excellent product displays, merchandising and stock presentation.
Keeping the shop floor clean, organised and looking its best.
Assisting with bike rentals and general day-to-day store duties when required.
What we're looking for:
A natural salesperson who enjoys selling and is motivated by achieving results.
Confident approaching customers, starting conversations and identifying sales opportunities.
Proven retail sales experience, ideally in the bike industry.
A passion for bikes, riding and the outdoors.
Friendly, enthusiastic and confident with excellent communication skills.
Someone who takes initiative, is proactive and enjoys being part of a busy, high-energy team.
A willingness to learn and develop strong product knowledge.
