About the role

This is an exciting role for a Risk & Compliance professional who has demonstrated experience working in highly regulated industry, familiarity with relevant insurance laws & regulation and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This role has a key focus on supporting the Chief Financial Officer with statutory and head office requirements. You will be key in maintaining the Risk Management Framework and Fair Conduct Programme and will have significant exposure supporting Board and Executive to manage organisational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Chief Financial Officer with statutory and head office requirements

• Maintain the Risk Management Framework

• Maintain the Fair Conduct Programme

• Support Board and Executive to manage organisational risks

About you

• Experience in a Risk/Compliance Officer Role is preferred

• Experience in an Insurance environment is highly desirable

• Degree or diploma in Commerce, Legal or relevant field required

• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to write for a variety of audiences

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Proficient within Microsoft Office and comfortable using AI tools

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit required
