PRODUCTION FACTORY HAND / PRODUCTION TECHNICIANS

Our client is looking for reliable prodcution hands to support their team. You will be responsible for safely manufacturing reinforced concrete pipes and precast products.

If you have worked with concrete or builidng materials before, this could be for you. This role includes mould preparation, concrete pouring and finishing, quality checks, housekeeping and general production duties.

Location: Pokeno
Work days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday)
Work hours: AM & PM shifts available
Pay rate: $28 - $32 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assemble and secure moulds and formwork to production requirements
• Follow job sheets, drawings, measurements and production specifications
• Position reinforcement, steel cages, inserts, funnels and other compnents before pouring
• Operate and monitor concrete filling, pouring, vibrating, screeding and finishing processes
• Strip moulds and move cured products using approved lifting equipment and methods
• Complete quality checks and report defects, damages, delays or production issues
• Clean tools, machinery, moulds and work areas, maintaining strong housekeeping standards

Successful Candidates Must:

• Follow all site rules, safe operating procedures, hazard controls and isolation requirements
• Wear all required PPE (we can provide this)
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Return a clean criminal background check
• Provide two contactable work references
• Have reliable transport and be committed to being at work on time everyday
