We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Practitioner (GP) to join our friendly, supportive and community-focused rural practice in Wanaka, on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who enjoys the variety and challenges of rural medicine, values meaningful patient relationships and wants to make a genuine difference in a welcoming community. As well as serving our enrolled patient we provide quality care to the many Visitors to our town. We hold a Prime Contract and also provide after-hours service to the Wanaka region.

Working in our practice offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care across a diverse range of clinical presentations. You will enjoy the variety that comes with rural general practice, building long-term relationships with patients and families while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

About You
We are looking for a GP who:
Is unconditionally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Has 3+ years post graduate experience in General Practice
Has Unrestricted work eligibility in New Zealand
Undertaken previous PRIME training or equivalent
Enjoys the diversity and independence of rural general practice.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is passionate about providing high-quality, holistic patient care.
Values teamwork and contributing to a supportive clinical environment.
Is adaptable, approachable and enjoys being part of a small community.
