What the role actually looks like
You’ll step into an existing client base (national reach), supporting with refixes, restructures, and ongoing lending advice, while also continuing to grow your own pipeline through referrals, networks, and opportunities across the wider business.
You’ll have the autonomy to run your portfolio your way, but with solid support around you and team collaboration.

You’ll be working closely with the Principal Adviser’s and Owner’s and the wider team of 14. The style here is down-to-earth, hands-on, and supportive and you’ll have the space to operate independently, but you won’t be left on your own.
The role can be based in either Pukekohe, Auckland or Mount Maunganui, with modern office facilities at both locations. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working alongside the team in the office, with flexibility available where needed.

- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Managing regular reviews, including refixing, restructuring and ongoing advice
- Managing lending from first conversation through to settlement
- Identifying opportunities to add value and naturally generate new business
- Working alongside your insurance and KiwiSaver advisers to deliver growth opportunities
- Building strong relationships with external lenders and advocating for your clients
- Confidence managing your own clients end-to-end
- A successful track record of writing and converting new business
- At least a couple of years’ experience as a Mortgage Adviser within a broker environment
- Level 5 Financial Cert qualification is essential
- A steady, professional approach – someone clients trust and come back to
- Someone who takes ownership and follows things through
- Is commercially aware and operates with the highest standards
