About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join Kuehne+Nagel on a casual basis, based in Christchurch. Supporting our Sea, Air, and Warehouse teams, this person will provide hands-on, practical support to assist during the stone fruit export season at our Christchurch Airport Warehouse. The season begins in December 2026 and runs through until late January/early February 2027, with hours and days of work varying across this period on a 7-day roster.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare export shipments by accurately labelling cartons and pallets, ensuring all freight is correctly identified

• Pick and pack orders with care and attention to quality, ensuring products are handled safely, packed accurately, and prepared for timely dispatch

• Load freight units efficiently and safely

• Unload incoming freight, checking shipments, moving stock to designated locations, and supporting the smooth flow of warehouse operations during peak season

About you

• A good level of fitness and able to lift 5 – 18 kg boxes

• Comfortable working indoors under cool conditions

• Works well in a team environment

• Current forklift licence would be an asset, but not essential
