- Processing trust account receipts, payments, transfers and settlements
- Completing daily trust reconciliations and ensuring account accuracy
- Maintaining compliance with trust accounting regulations and firm policies
- Investigating discrepancies and resolving account related queries
- Supporting audits, reporting requirements and wider finance team initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will bring previous trust accounting experience within a legal environment and a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Previous experience in an established general practice, specialist property or medium sized law firm is essential
- Strong understanding of trust accounting requirements and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- A professional, proactive and collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships
