Carry out basic maintenance tasks within your skills and training, with guidance from experienced team members.
Help with scheduled maintenance across sheds, packhouses, and egg grading systems.
Support shed turnarounds with repairs, preparation, and general upkeep.
Identify and report faults or maintenance needs.
Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop tidy, organised, and secure.
Follow health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
What We’re Looking For
A practical mindset and an interest in maintenance or mechanical work.
Some experience using hand and power tools.
Reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
A sensible approach to safety and the confidence to ask for help.
Residing in, or willing to relocate to, within 30 minutes of Masterton
A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in farming, labouring, building, or maintenance would be helpful, but a trade qualification or several years of maintenance experience isn’t required. We’re interested in your practical ability, attitude, and willingness to develop.

Opportunities to build practical skills and take on more responsibility as you develop.
A family-oriented, values-driven culture.
Varied, hands-on work where you can see the difference you make.
A tray of Better Eggs each week.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
