Two Roles, One Team
HVAC Service Technician
Turn service calls into sales opportunities by quoting on site and confidently presenting repair, upgrade, and replacement options that suit each customer's needs and budget
Diagnose, fault-find and repair split, multi-head and ducted systems (heat pumps, as you’d call them back home)
Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing for residential and light commercial customers
Be the trusted face of Plum in customers’ homes — explaining the problem and the fix clearly
HVAC Install Technician
Install split, multi-head and ducted systems across residential and light commercial jobs
Own the full install: pipework, brazing, evacuation and commissioning
Leave every job clean, tidy and running perfectly first time

Who We’re Looking For
You’ll likely have:
Service: hands-on experience fault-finding and repairing residential or light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems, or
Install: hands-on experience installing split, multi-head or ducted systems, including pipework, brazing, evacuation and commissioning
A relevant NZ refrigeration & air conditioning qualification and refrigerant handling certification
A solid work ethic and pride in your workmanship
Great customer service skills
NZ Citizenship
