About the role
You will host the breakfast show Monday to Friday, be the front door to the station for the community, work closely with the local news team, and be a visible part of life on the Peninsula. Breakfast on CFM is not a shift you read. It is a conversation with a region of people who feel like they know you.

About us
Coromandel's CFM is true local commercial radio. Not a network feed with a local sticker on it, but a station built from scratch in this community, for this community, over the past eight years. Five transmitter sites give full Peninsula coverage from Thames to Whangamata to Whitianga and everywhere between. The station has been surveyed number one in its market, has around 40,000 social media followers, and its website pulls in about 10,000 visits a week. During emergencies the Coromandel tunes to CFM for information.
Benefits
A pivotal role at an independent station that punches well above its weight
A small and supportive team who genuinely care about what they do
The freedom to shape the show
The chance to be part of something that matters to the place you live
For the right person there is a longer term conversation to be had about a stake in the station itself
