Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise across routing, switching, firewalls, wireless technologies and network security solutions, with the ability to independently manage complex technical incidents and deliver reliable infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless technologies.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex network incidents involving LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs and SD-WAN.
• Implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewall policies, security configurations and access controls.
• Work with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto and other enterprise networking and security technologies.
• Manage network maintenance activities, firmware upgrades, patches and security enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated L2 and L3 network and security incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and identify solutions for recurring network issues.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential risks and implement proactive improvements.
• Work with load balancing technologies such as F5 or NetScaler.
• Support wireless networking and authentication technologies.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration records and infrastructure updates.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal technical teams to ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement and technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements & Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and network security.
• Strong experience in routing and switching technologies, particularly Cisco or Juniper.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/ISE or Fortinet.
• Strong understanding of network security, VPNs, access controls and network infrastructure.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with wireless networking and authentication solutions.
• Exposure to load balancing technologies such as F5 or NetScaler.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, NetFlow, Nagios or Wireshark.
• Good understanding of cloud networking across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Desirable

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE or equivalent.
• Experience working in managed services or enterprise IT environments.
• Experience handling complex escalations and supporting business-critical network infrastructure.
