Part-time Sales Assistant – Bivouac Outdoor Dunedin

From tramping, trail running and camping to climbing, travel and backcountry adventures, we stock premium outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment from leading brands including Arc’teryx, Patagonia, Outdoor Research, Osprey, Icebreaker, Black Diamond, Scarpa, Sea to Summit, ASICS and more. 

We’re looking for a part-time Sales Assistant to join our friendly Dunedin team. You’ll help customers choose the right gear, share practical advice, and be part of a team that genuinely loves the outdoors.

The role is 15 hours per week, working 7.5 hours on both Friday and Saturday.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Previous sales/customer service experience

• Interest and passion for the outdoors

• Ability to work weekends and public holidays

• Flexibility to cover leave and unforeseen absences

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing customers with an exceptional in store experience

• Setting up customers to have safe and enjoyable adventures

• Ensuring the store is clean, organised and visually appealing
