The Role

Contego is a national specialist contractor delivering passive fire protection and specialist sealing and structural solutions. We’re looking for a structural grouting specialist to join our Auckland Wet Trades team.

This is a specialist role. You’ll need solid, proven experience in structural grouting as your core trade.

What you’ll be doing

•  Dry packing under base plates, precast panels and beams

•  Pumping Drossbach ducts and precast connections

•  Base plate and machine grouting, cementitious and epoxy

•  Setting up, running and cleaning grout pumps and mixers

•  Some sealant work when the programme needs it

What you’ll bring

•  Proven core experience in structural grouting, ideally on precast

•  Confidence setting up, running and maintaining grout pumps

•  An eye for detail and focus on quality

•  Ability to use quality assurance software on a phone or tablet

•  A strong H&S focused attitude and Site Safe passport, or willing to get one

•  Reliability and a full driver licence

Running your own business?

We’re also open to experienced contractors. You’ll need your own vehicle, tools and public liability insurance, and be set up to invoice weekly against approved timesheets.
