*ACCOUNTANT*

The Accountant reports to the CFO - North America and the General Manager.

  • General accounting, full-cycle bookkeeping, and month-end closing
  • Accounts payable and receivable management, including supplier credit applications and collections
  • Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal advising
  • Account reconciliations (banks, credit cards, petty cash, etc.)
  • Cash flow and capital planning/reporting
  • Management of intercompany loans and transactions
  • Tax compliance (income tax installments, GST, NR4, T4, PIERS)
  • Maintain government remissions and compliance with accounting legislation
  • Support for corporate audits and preparation of year-end financial statements
  • Ensuring and improving internal controls and data integrity
  • Document retention and compliance
  • Interfacing with shared services and corporate accounting
  • Process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

*Hybrid Work: *This position is full-time, in-office for the first month to support onboarding and training. Following the onboarding period, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule of two (2) in-office days per week.

*Qualifications *

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting specialization, or equivalent
  • 3+ years full-cycle accounting
  • SAP
  • Excel (intermediate/advanced)
  • CPA candidacy/designation (asset)

Pay: $86,500. 00-$90,000. 00 per year
