Love food? Chronically online? A creative hustler? Let’s talk.
At Tuckshop Studio, we’re strategists, foodies, designers and content creators who make content so good you’ll want to lick your screen. We know how Kiwis eat and drink, and we partner with New Zealand’s leading food and beverage brands to turn that insight into fresh, clever work. Smart planning plus creative flair means content that feeds audiences on their screens and on their plates.
We’re looking for a Creative Social Media Executive to join our crew.
About the role
You’ll run the day-to-day of our client accounts and be the voice of their brands online. You’ll come up with social-first content ideas and see them come to life, guard each brand’s voice and creativity across socials, and put our strategies into action by publishing content, growing communities and spotting trends before they peak.
It’s a hands-on role for someone creative, highly organised and keen to build a career in social media.
What you’ll be doing
Content and community
Writing witty, brand-specific captions that stop the scroll
Scheduling and publishing content through Meta Business Suite and Planable, with the right approvals and tagging
Building and managing content calendars from existing brand photography and video, and planning organic content that drives engagement
Keeping every post planned, briefed and approved, and managing placeholders proactively
Replying to comments, DMs and mentions within 12 hours in each brand’s tone of voice
Doing daily outreach to connect brands with new audiences, creators and fans
Trends and creators
Tracking memes, trending audio and platform changes so our brands are first to the party
Turning trends into quick, lo-fi Reels and TikToks that feel native and stay on strategy
Finding creators who fit each client’s look, values and budget, helping ideate PR packs and coordinating send-outs
Reporting and admin
Building client reports on performance and sentiment, with clear recommendations
Supporting quarterly reviews and helping optimise paid campaigns in Meta
Keeping Asana and Planable accurate and up to date, and filing and archiving content
In the studio
Supporting our production team and food stylists on set
Capturing behind-the-scenes content and appearing on camera when needed
Helping keep the studio running, from prep to pack-down
Please note: this role includes about 20 minutes a day of community management on weekends and over the Christmas period.
