Looking for a reliable, friendly, energetic, well presented, enthusiastic, punctual and well organised nurse or aesthetician with excellent people and communication skills to be part of a specialist dermatology clinic. Must be bubbly, reliable, outgoing and enjoy working with people. Ready for immediate start if successful. Must have excellent customer service skills and be keen to make a difference.
The role involves growing our aesthetic service and would require someone who is very good with people and keen to grow in the field of aesthetics and dermatology nursing. It is a hands on role, with a lot of patient contact. Prior experience would be a bonus, however for the right candidate, we are happy to provide all the training as required. The role would involve peels, lasers, aesthetic medicine, botox and skin surgery. As this is a hands on role, and involves performing treatments on patients and growing our clientele, it would require someone energetic and excellent with patients.
A fantastic opportunity for growing ones experience with lasers (pico laser and vascular laser) and peels at a specialist level, and has good access and exposure to dermatology team teaching, learning and protocols. Learn from the best!
This role may also suit an experienced beautician (or nurse) who has excellent bedside manner and is keen to grow in this exciting field of medicine.
Must have excellent communication skills. Must be reliable, friendly and must be able to work well in a specialist led team and follow instruction if needed and also be able to work independently. Must enjoy working with people.
Would suit someone who has an interest in skin, aesthetics, beauty, laser services and surgical and medical dermatology. There may be some administration tasks and the role will likely evolve and grow over time.

Although hours are currently part time , as we are trying to build the aesthetic service and clientele, the role has a good chance of growing over time, as the clinic builds its clients.

Will suit a candidate not requiring full time work, however wanting to be part of a great team and wanting a stimulating social work environment, with the opportunity to learn and grow in skin medicine / aesthetics / laser / and surgery . The role has a good opportunity to increase in hours over the next six months.
We are keen to employ a candidate for longer term work (at least 9 months).
Working hours are during office hours (no weekends or public holidays). Our current office is in central wellington, Thorndon. There is no parking provided however it is close to the train station and public transport.
