This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Clinical Director to join Health New Lynn. Combining strategic clinical leadership with hands-on patient care, this role offers the best of both worlds. You will provide clinical leadership, professional guidance, and mentorship to GPs and clinical teams while helping drive innovation, service development, and new models of care. You'll remain connected to the heart of the practice through hands-on GP work.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver high quality clinical care while providing strategic clinical leadership
- Lead quality improvement, clinical governance, audits, and accreditation programmes
- Champion equitable, patient-centred care and positive health outcomes
- Mentor and support GPs, GP Registrars, and multidisciplinary teams
- Drive clinical excellence through education, peer review, and service development
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to enhance primary care services and community wellbeing
- Vocational registration in General Practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand with a current APC
- Prior experience within clinical leadership
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead change in complex environments
- Feel confident operating in a diverse environment, with an awareness of interrelated issues and ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to improving equitable health outcomes
